CUSG Joint Finance Board

The CUSG Finance Board is currently seeking to fill 12 vacant seats opened to students and staff. The Finance Board makes decisions about student fees touching nearly every corner of campus life. As a board member, you won't just observe those choices- you'll help make them. If you're interested in helping oversee student fee allocation, we'd love to hear from you!Ìý

Gender and Sexuality Liaison

The Gender and Sexuality Liaison advocates for LGBTQ+ students by working with CUSG, the Office of Gender and Sexuality Resources, and LGBTQ+ student organizations. This role helps identify student needs, support campus events, and connect students with resources, programs, and advocacy opportunities. Students who are passionate about inclusion, outreach, and creating a more supportive campus community are encouraged to apply.

Deputy Chief of Staff

The Deputy Chief of Staff supports the Chief of Staff in keeping the Executive Cabinet organized, effective, and on track. This role helps supervise staff responsibilities, support department continuity, assist with timesheets, and step in as needed during meetings or major projects. Students who are organized, dependable, and interested in leadership behind the scenes are encouraged to apply.

Central Events Planner

The Central Events Planner helps coordinate events across CUSG departments and serves as a main point of support for logistics, planning, and execution. This role manages room reservations, catering, event calendars, and communication with campus partners or vendors. Students who enjoy planning, problem-solving, and bringing campus events to life are encouraged to apply.

Health and Safety Chair

The Health and Safety Chair connects CUSG with campus and community resources related to student health, safety, mental health, and well-being. This role works with partners like CAPS, student groups, and campus offices to increase awareness of available resources and support student-centered initiatives. Students who care about mental health, safety, advocacy, and student support are encouraged to apply.

Greek Life Liaison

The Greek Life Liaison serves as the connection between CUSG and CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s Fraternity and Sorority Life community. This role helps strengthen communication, support collaboration on campus initiatives, and ensure Greek-affiliated students are represented in student government efforts. Students involved in or familiar with Greek Life who want to build stronger campus connections are encouraged to apply.

Cultural Belonging & Access Chair

The Cultural Belonging & Access Chair works with multicultural student organizations, resource offices, and campus partners to better understand and advocate for the needs of underrepresented students. This role supports collaboration on events, funding navigation, outreach, and initiatives for students from multicultural, rural, first-generation, and low-income backgrounds. Students who are passionate about belonging, access, equity, and community-building are encouraged to apply.

State and Federal Lobbyist

The State and Federal Lobbyist represents CUSG in policy spaces connected to ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß, Colorado, and federal higher education issues. This role tracks legislation, builds relationships with government stakeholders, researches student concerns, and helps create policy proposals or advocacy materials. Students interested in government, policy, advocacy, and representing student voices beyond campus are encouraged to apply.

Environmental Lobbyist

The Environmental Lobbyist advocates for sustainability efforts within CUSG and works closely with the Environmental Center, student organizations, and relevant campus committees. This role stays informed on current environmental initiatives, supports sustainability legislation, and helps connect CUSG with ongoing climate and environmental work. Students who care about sustainability, environmental justice, and campus change are encouraged to apply.

Social Media Chair

The Social Media Chair manages CUSG’s social media presence and helps share important information about events, programs, campaigns, and student resources. This role creates and posts content, responds to messages, attends events for coverage, and collaborates with the Strategic Communications team on long-term outreach goals. Students who are creative, communicative, and excited about digital engagement are encouraged to apply.
