<p>The University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Environmental Center, with support from a number of campus departments and private sources, is expanding "Computers To Youth," its innovative approach to both protect the environment and benefit disadvantaged communities in Colorado. It is now an ongoing, year-round program with its formal launch set for Saturday, May 15, on the CU-¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß campus.</p>

<p>Mark Arnoldy, a University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß senior set to graduate on Friday, doesn't like peanuts. As a matter of fact he avoids them like the plague because he is highly allergic to them.</p>

<p>More than 40 11th-graders from the Denver School of Science and Technology will get a close-up look at college-level engineering design at the University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß on Thursday, April 29, the last voting day of the White House Commencement Challenge.</p>

<p>Engineering students at the University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß are ramping up for a week of intense activity April 20 to 24, when they will celebrate Engineering Days and complete hands-on design projects for demonstration to the community at the Engineering Design Expo.</p>

<p>The University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß's second annual Spring Fest is expected to draw thousands of students and visitors to campus April 9-11 for the Buffalo Can Challenge, Admitted Student Day, Healthy Kids Day, the spring football game, the Forever Buffs 5K run and other events.</p>

<p>Aerospace engineering students at the University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß have developed an initiative called "We Want Our Future" to inspire the nation's youth and strengthen their interest in science, technology, engineering and math.</p>

<p>The INVST Community Leadership Program at the University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß has been involving CU students in community service since 1990, and on March 12-14, alumni of the program will gather in ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß for a 20th anniversary reunion weekend.</p>

<p>Each morning, University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß alumna Julie Fast wakes to the footsteps of "campesinos" hiking past her front door in Peru on their way to their farm fields.</p>

<p>Combine the youth and idealism often found on the University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß campus with a business degree, and the ability to make a difference in the world takes on new dimensions.</p>

<p>University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß junior David Hinojosa is one of thousands of CU-¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß students who are annually making a difference in their communities through civic engagement.</p>
