    <p>A $20 million remote sensing instrument package built by the 抖阴传媒在线, which is leading a 2013 NASA mission to understand how Mars might have lost its atmosphere, has been delivered to Lockheed Martin in Littleton, Colo., for spacecraft integration.</p>

    <p>In light of the recent hurricane that has taken its toll on the East Coast, the CU-抖阴传媒在线 <a href="http://volunteer.colorado.edu/">Volunteer Resource Center</a> is hoping to step in as a voice to raise awareness about helping those impacted to get back on their feet.聽</p>
  • <p>The 抖阴传媒在线 enrolled more international students during the 2011-12 academic year and sent more students abroad during the 2010-11 academic year than any other higher education institution in Colorado.</p>
    <p>The data, released today by the Institute of International Education in its annual Open Doors Report, shows that CU-抖阴传媒在线 was home to 1,681 international students during the 2011-12 school year. CU-抖阴传媒在线 sent 1,316 students overseas during the 2010-11 school year.</p>
  • <p>The 抖阴传媒在线 will honor the nation鈥檚 veterans, including CU-抖阴传媒在线鈥檚 own faculty, staff and student veterans, through Veterans Week, beginning with a Nov. 9 Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. in the University Memorial Center鈥檚 Glenn Miller Ballroom.<br /><br />
    The free, public ceremony will feature guest speaker Michael Dakduk, executive director of the national organization Student Veterans of America. A reception will follow in the UMC Veterans Lounge.<br /><br /></p>

  • The 抖阴传媒在线鈥檚 annual Diversity and Inclusion Summit will feature a variety of sessions for students, faculty, staff and community members from Nov. 13-15. All events are free, open to the public and on the 抖阴传媒在线 campus. The organizing theme for this year鈥檚 summit is 鈥淎MP it up! Awareness, Movement and Practice.鈥

    <p>Have you been 鈥淏ack to 抖阴传媒在线?鈥 It鈥檚 a question being posed by the 抖阴传媒在线 Alumni Association to its family of more than 250,000 students and alumni. Alumni, current students, faculty, staff and community members will find a broad slate of activities for the 2012 Homecoming weekend starting Thursday, Nov. 1.   • <p>CU-抖阴传媒在线 JILA Fellow David Nesbitt is used to working his way around chemistry laboratories, but working his way around the dance floor is a different story altogether.</p>
  • <p>Michael Brown, one of the world鈥檚 most accomplished adventure filmmakers and a CU-抖阴传媒在线 alumnus, will share his story during his talk 鈥淏eyond the Summit鈥 at the Back to 抖阴传媒在线 Luncheon. The luncheon, to be held Friday, Nov. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom, is free for all CU-抖阴传媒在线 students.</p>
  • <p>Sean Wiese鈥檚 project for a computer science class last year has been developed into a software application now being used by a 抖阴传媒在线 nonprofit, and also led to an internship for Wiese with the nonprofit.</p>
