On behalf of a thoughtful 4th grader, the CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß School of Education is hosting a book drive for neighboring school, University Hill Elementary. Please help support our friend Alana Valladares’ cause by donating your new or gently used children’s books in Spanish or English by March 17.

Coming from a family that put a high value on service, Keara Leahy was excited to learn about the Alternative Breaks program a couple years back when she was seeking service opportunities on campus. Now a senior accounting major, she is about to embark on her second Alternative Break this March as a site leader. Her group is traveling to San Diego to work with several organizations to support veterans, active military and their families.

The city of ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß is seeking CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß students, faculty and staff who are interested in joining a community working group that will provide input during the planning process for the 30th and Colorado Corridors Study. Letters of interest are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27.
This is Diverse Learners Awareness Week, when Disability Services and the Office of Information Technology create forums to raise awareness at CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß. Â
One of the most rewarding parts of traveling is the stories with which you leave. The CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Peace Corps group is hosting a Storytelling Night for community members to share travel stories and engage with returned volunteers.
CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Staff Council, in partnership with the Diversity and Inclusion Summit, is holding two town halls on Tuesday, Feb. 21 where students, faculty and staff are encouraged to come listen and contribute to our open discussion on diversity and inclusion on our campus.
