The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program is pleased to announce the recipients of this summer’s student grants. These outstanding students represent a wide range of disciplines and demonstrate how undergraduates advance the university's research and creative mission.
Affinity groups hold special recognition ceremonies for graduates. Find yours and plan to join, wearing your special stole. There are also first-generation stoles for first-generation graduates and legacy cords for students whose parents, stepparents or grandparents attended CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß. Commencement and many recognition ceremonies will bring several days of excitement and celebration to the community. This means CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and city of ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß roadways will be heavily impacted as well.
At the College of Music’s recognition ceremony on May 11, Margot and Christopher Brauchli will be honored with the College of Music’s 2023 Distinguished Service Award for their decades-long support.
An affordable, net-zero energy home designed by CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß students was honored as part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2023 Solar Decathlon Build Challenge. The home is part of a partnership between the university, Flatirons Habitat for Humanity and the city of ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß.
Peace Corps Director Carol Spahn visited the CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß campus on April 24, meeting with Chancellor Philip DiStefano and other campus representatives to celebrate CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s long history with the program and to encourage volunteering.
Students from across campus have received Graduate Research Fellowships, a prestigious award that recognizes and supports outstanding students in a wide variety of science-related disciplines.
OIT’s Student Success Technology Team was recognized at a Salesforce summit with the Excellence in Student Success award for its work on Buff Portal Advising and related student success applications.
