Nu Rho Psi, the National Honor Society in Neuroscience
The official mission and purpose of is to:
- encourage professional interest and excellence in scholarship, particularly in neuroscience
- award recognition to students who have achieved such excellence in scholarship
- advance the discipline of neuroscience
- encourage intellectual and social interaction between students, faculty, and professionals in neuroscience and related fields
- promote career development in neuroscience and related fields
- increase public awareness of neuroscience and its benefits for the individual and society
- encourage service to the community
Requirements to JoinÌý
- MajorÌýin Neuroscience
- Completion of 3 college semesters
- Completion of 9 creditÌýhours of Neuroscience major courses, of which at least 6 credit hours have NRSC prefix
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Neuroscience major GPA of 3.5 or higher
Nu Rho Psi collaborates closely with the Neuroscience Club in community service events!Ìý

Julia Renz - President
Julia is a seniorÌýtriple majoring in NRSC, PSYC, & MCDB! She works in the Donaldson Lab studying partner specific motivation behaviors in prairie voles. Julia is also the president of SODA at CU and has taken on a larger role in Colorado's organ donation advocacy community. SheÌýenjoys reading, playing games with her friends, and crocheting in her free time!Ìý

Mia Riebe - Vice President
Mia is a senior majoring in NRSC & PSYC on the pre-health track, with hopes of attending PA school after completing her undergraduate degrees. She is currently working towards her CNA certification and working at OsteoStrong this summer! Fun fact: she has never been stung by a bee, only a jellyfish on her face!

Genna Rump - SecretaryÌý
Genna is majoring in IPHY & NRSC, with a biochemistry minor. She is a diver for CU's swim and dive club team and enjoys reading, lifting, and hiking. She is currently learning how to crochet!

Cora Goodwin - Events PlannerÌý
CoraÌýis a NRSCÌý& MCDB major and is fascinated by cellular biology! She enjoys being with friends, nature, road tripping, and reading. Fun fact, her worst injury was caused by her friend sitting on her kneecap and dislocating it!

Alexa Macklin - Marketing ChairÌý
Alexa is a 3rd year NRSC major with an interest in medicine & clinical neuroscience. She is deeply invested in research regardingÌýregenerative medicine and MS. Her hobbies include painting, being outdoors, and going to spin class.
