2026 Fundraising Milestones and Rewards

This year, we鈥檙e introducing new fundraising levels to celebrate and reward the incredible impact our riders make for the BBC Scholarship Fund. The more you raise, the more you earn鈥攁nd every dollar helps Colorado students access a CU 抖阴传媒在线 education.

Level 1 - Raise $50+

Reward: A BBC apron to help keep you motivated in the kitchen

Reward: Everything above, plus鈥BBC short鈥慺inger cycling gloves; 听Start your fundraising journey and earn a pair of high鈥憅uality gloves perfect for training and event day.

Steps on How to Be a Successful Fundraiser

1. Create Your BBC Fundraising Page
Go to our . Select 鈥淏ecome a Fundraiser鈥 and follow the steps to set up your personal fundraising page.

2. Personalize Your Page
Make your page your own!

  • Add a photo of yourself.
  • Share your story and explain why you want to raise money for the BBC Scholarship Fund, which helps students attend CU 抖阴传媒在线.
  • Tell people why this cause matters to you and what your personal connection is.

Your page already includes information about the BBC Scholarship Fund, including:

  • Celebrating its 24th year
  • Supporting 450+ scholars
  • Raising over $4.3 million

You鈥檒l also receive a personal fundraising link you can easily share with family and friends.

3. Make the First Donation
Consider making a donation to your own page. It shows your commitment and helps kick off your fundraising momentum鈥攖he fundraising has officially begun!

4. Reach Out to 5鈥10 Friends and Family
Start with your inner circle.

  • Send individual emails or messages.
  • Keep them short, personal, and genuine.
  • Include the link to your fundraising page (from RunSignup).
  • Remember: they haven鈥檛 been asked yet, and many people are happy to say yes.

5. Follow Up and Say Thank You
