Inclusive Teaching and Learning Community of Practice (ITL CoP)

TheÌýInclusive Teaching and Learning Community of Practice (ITL CoP) is a supportive network for equity-minded educators, staff, students and others at CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß. It’s a space to connect, learn, and share strategies for fostering inclusivity, equity, and social justice in teaching and learning contexts.
What is ITL CoP?
ITL CoP operates as aÌýCommunity of Practice (CoP)—a group of individuals united by common goals who meet on a regular basis to discuss questions and curiosities, share knowledge and resources, and support one another in continually improving their practice. ITL CoP is a space where participantsÌýreflect,Ìýask questions, andÌýtake action to build moreÌýequitable learning communities.
ITL CoP Mission
The mission of ITL CoP is to:
- Connect Equity-Focused Educators and CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß community members – Build relationships among individuals committed toÌýinclusion, equity, and social justiceÌýin educational spaces.
- Discuss and Develop Inclusive Teaching and Learning Practices – Create and refine tools and frameworks for embeddingÌýinclusive approaches in teaching and learning.
- Empower through Knowledge Sharing – Share resources andÌý¾±²Ô²õ¾±²µ³ó³Ù²õ to support continuous learning and growth.
- Shape Institutional Change – Inspire educators, staff, administrators, and others toÌýpromote practices and policies and create moreÌýequitable systems that support teaching and learning efforts on campus.

Participating in ITL CoP provides access to resources and support designed to enhanceÌýinclusive teaching and learning practices and buildÌýcommunity connections:
- Monthly Meetings:
- Engage inÌýdiscussions ´Ç²ÔÌýinclusion, equity, and social justice in the classroom.
- Collaborate withÌýlike-minded folks from across campus to address challenges and develop strategies.
- Inclusivity Network Email List:
- Stay informed year-round withÌýnews, events, and resources related toÌýequity and inclusion.
- ·¡³æ³¦³ó²¹²Ô²µ±ðÌýarticles, tools, and strategies with other members to sustain momentum.
