Biography

Ed Van Wesep is the Joyce Chair of Entrepreneurial Finance and Professor of Finance at the Leeds School of Business. He served as an Associate Professor at Vanderbilt University and an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina. Prior to entering academia, he spent time at McKinsey and Co. and Capital One and co-founded a specialty auto finance firm, Risk Allocation Systems.听

Teaching

Professor Van Wesep teaches courses in managerial economics and corporate finance across undergraduate and graduate programs. He has designed his economics courses over 18 years, and this teaching has led to his forthcoming book, "Disequilibrium."
