Finance Treks take place across the country as part of an effort toÌýengageÌýstudents with their alumni community, exposeÌýthem to various aspects of the finance industry, and helpÌýthem to assess possible career paths within finance.Ìý
Treks outside of Denver are normally 1-2Ìýnights. The Burridge Center works logistics of travel for the students. You can expect a typical day to includeÌý90 minute visits with several companies that offer to host students, share information about their role in the finance industry, provide networking and tour financial centers.

Trek Locations
The goal for finance treks is to introduce students to leading financial companies in various cities. Most treks are paired with an Alumni networking event and many of our hosts are Buffs. Ìý
Home to a growing number of financial organizations, we trek to Denver multiple times a year. Focus areas include Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Private Equity.Ìý
Where it all started! Visit the financial center of the US. We run two New York treks, one focusing on Investment Banking, the other on Sales &Trading and Asset management. Firms include Bank of America, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Guggenheim, Invesco, Morgan Stanley, TD Cowen.
Known as a global hub for Derivatives, Futures and Options, we trek to Chicago yearly. Visits unique to Chicago include the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), as well as various Asset Managers and Quant shops.Ìý
Where finance meets tech! At the San Francisco trek visits include Bloomberg, JP Morgan, Citi Group & Morgan Stanley.
Is your heart in SoCal? This Personal Financial Planning focused trek includes visits to various Wealth Managers.
