Biography

Claire Stewart joins the Leeds School of Business as the Executive Director of Engagement, Marketing and Communications. Claire brings 16 years of marketing and communications experience to Leeds, including 11 years in higher education leadership. After working at A. Tomlinson/Sims Advertising Agency in Florence, Alabama, Claire moved to the Gulf Coast in 2014 and began working in higher education. She held senior marketing roles at Columbia Southern University and Waldorf University through Columbia Southern Education Group. In 2018, Claire moved to the University of West Florida, serving as the Director of Advancement Communications in which she oversaw all marketing and communication efforts for UWF Development, the UWF Historic Trust, Pensacola Museum of Art and UWF Foundation. In 2021, she was promoted to the position of Executive Director of University Marketing and Advancement Strategy. In this role, she led teams responsible for marketing, communications, advertising, creative strategy, and annual giving for the university. While at UWF, she played a critical role in launching the largest capital campaign in university history, securing record-breaking alumni giving rates and driving university enrollment to all-time highs.Ìý
