The Peleg Lab at the BioFrontiers Institute is seeking a Student Assistant to help pilot a new set of experiments on human rhythms and collective behavior. Our lab merges tools from physics, biology, engineering, and computer science to study communication and coordination in living systems, including honeybees and fireflies. We are located in the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building (JSCBB) on East Campus. We anticipate a flexible schedule during the pilot phase. The BioFrontiers IT team is looking for an undergraduate HPC Student Assistant to join our team. We are passionate about improving user experience by providing and supporting cutting-edge technology. This position will require the drive to understand complex computer systems as well as assist the team with hardware/software

The BioFrontiers Institute periodically hires undergraduate students to work in faculty labs on an as-needed basis throughout the year. Student Assistant positions typically start from $16.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience, education level, or other qualifying factors.
