Joe joined Venture Partners at CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏßÌýin December, 2011 as an Intellectual Property Associate. Previously, he was a trademark paralegal for nearly 20 years in a major law firm in its ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß office. Joe oversees daily patent operations and compliance for the University’s ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and Colorado Springs portfolios. He works in close collaboration with the office’s licensing and financing team and a select group of law firms nationwide to coordinate patent prosecution and maintenance.

Joe has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and a Paralegal Certificate from the Denver paralegal Institute. He is a Notary Public for the State of Colorado.
