During the past several years, I have been committed to addressing issues of sexual misconduct at CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß. Over the past six months and especially the past two weeks, I have spent serious time reflecting on my erroneous interpretation of our sexual misconduct policy as it applied to allegations of domestic abuse by one of our former coaches.
We exist to assist departments and units across campus in employing a strategic, systematic and comprehensive approach to resource planning, data analysis and fiscal management.
I accept my responsibility to uphold the University of Colorado's standards. I will return to the campus completely dedicated to our mission. We will reform policies, provide better training and raise awareness.
I take full responsibility for my actions; I am fully committed to being part of the solutions that the campus will implement over the coming weeks and months.
In the football program, I stress to our student-athletes and our coaching staff the importance of values, integrity and accountability. I accept the actions announced today by President Benson.
