- <p>Fourteen graduate students from the Engineering for Developing Communities program at the ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß traveled abroad this summer to gain field experience in community development.</p>
- <p>The ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß will host the 2011 Linguistics Institute from July 7 to Aug. 2, a prestigious gathering of faculty and students from around the world that also will feature free films, workshops and lectures open to the public.</p>
- <p>An international research team led by Japan and including the ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß may have taken a significant step in discovering why matter trumped antimatter at the time of the Big Bang, helping to create virtually all of the galaxies and stars in the universe.</p>
- <p>Ten ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß students have received Fulbright grants to pursue teaching, research and graduate studies abroad during the 2011-12 academic year, a record for the university.</p>

CU-¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß undergraduates Julia Ratcliff and Cacia Steensen were among 37 new fellowships awarded nationwide for teachers of biology, mathematics and physical science.</p>
- <p>The University of Colorado Law School's Juvenile and Family Law Program will take a group of 15 students to India for a hands-on clinical application of the family law curriculum.</p>
- <p>For the first time in its history, the ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß is ranked No. 1 in the nation for graduates serving as Peace Corps volunteers this year with 117 undergraduate alumni currently serving around the world, the Peace Corps announced today.</p>
- <p>Taylor Roberts, a University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß senior majoring in architectural engineering, is an example of the growing number of CU-¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß students who are civically engaged.</p>
- <p>The University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß's fall 2010 census figures show an enrollment of 29,952 degree- and licensure-seeking students, a total enrollment within 1 percent of last year, with increases in graduate, international and students of color enrollment.</p>
- <p>A planned $110 million telescope in Chile that the University of Colorado at ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß is partnering on to probe distant galaxies and stellar nurseries has been named as the top construction priority for mid-sized, ground-based telescopes by the National Research Council in the coming decade.</p>
