First-place solar decathlon winners receive visit from US secretary of energy, US senator
CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß first-place solar decathlon team members metÌýwith U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm and U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper during a Colorado Rockies game against the St. Louis Cardinals on July 1. The team was hosted and recognized by the secretary during her visit to Denver.
Team members includeÌýfaculty advisor Jennifer Scheib, civil, environmental and architectural professor; structural sub-team lead Justin Rimbach, aÌý CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß engineering undergraduate and graduate alumnus; co-lead Gabriella Abello, an architectural engineering and environmental design engineering-plus graduate; and graduate student advisor Aisling Pigott, a CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß architectural engineering undergraduate alumna who isÌýcurrently working on her doctoral degree.Ìý
