Drug Take-Back Day, March 9
Reduce the risk of accidental exposure, drug misuse, and environmental contamination by participating in Drug Take-Back Day. Turn in unused or expired medication for safe disposal on Wednesday, March 9, at the Drug Take-Back Event hosted by Community Health, a division of Wardenburg Health Services and the CU Police Department.
The event will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. in the University Memorial Center room 235 and is open to everyone. All over-the-counter and prescription medications will be accepted.
Items not eligible for disposal:
- Needles or sharps
- Mercury (thermometers)
- Oxygen cylinders or pressurized canisters
- Chemotherapy or radioactive substances
- Illicit drugs
