Join the FLEX Bus Welcome Celebration
FLEX bus service connecting CU-¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and Fort Collins is up and running. If you’ve been waiting for inexpensive, direct, easy transit service along the north Front Range, FLEX will take you where you need to go. Two special events will take place Jan. 21 in both Fort Collins and ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß to celebrate the start of service and the growing connections between Fort Collins and ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß.
Festivities kick off in Fort Collins from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Attendees will then ride the FLEX to CU-¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß to participate in the events on the ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß campus where light refreshments will be served.
The CU-¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß welcome ceremony will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the University Memorial Center Plaza (south side).

FLEX Service Highlights
- Express trips between ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß, Longmont, Loveland and Fort Collins, with limited stops, allowing a travel time that is comparable to auto drive times
- $1.25 one-way fare, $0.60 for seniors and disabled
- RTD EcoPass and CollegePass accepted for fare-free rides
- Free WiFi;Ìýwork while you commute
- Weekday service during peak commuting times
- Transfort technology provides real-time bus arrival information; information will beÌýavailable during the CU-¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß welcome event

Transfort, the City of Fort Collins’ transit department, will be operating the FLEX year-round, Monday through Friday. The new FLEX route is made possible by a grant from the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) received by ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß County, and partnerships with the City of ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß, City of Longmont and City of Loveland.Ìý
