Fall 2025 Be Involved Fair

ASSG participates in the campus Be Involved Fair annually and this year's was a huge success! We had the pleasure of speaking to so many people in the student body and received a huge amount of students interested in joining our organization. This was a spectacular event to start the year off with! We highly encourage all students to get out on campus and get involved!Ìý

Pop the Question with ASSG Event 09/29/2025

ASSG hosted a trivia night style event at the UMC terrace. The goal of this event was to begin our outreach efforts early by engaging the CU student community in a fun and welcoming environment. Students had the opportunity to learn more about ASSG, connect with board members, share their ideas for future events and initiatives, and earn some awesome prizes.Ìý

A huge shoutout to Abby Vsetecka, our wonderful Events Chair and her committee for organizing this wonderful event!

ASSG 103rd Session Retreat

This year, our ASSG Voting Board held its annual retreat in Breckenridge, where members dedicated time to building a stronger, more connected, and more effective team. Throughout the retreat, we focused on professional development, collaborative skill-building, and strengthening the relationships that allow us to work efficiently and respectfully together.

In addition to team bonding, the board reviewed and edited our bylaws to ensure they supportive of ASSG’s mission!

ASSG Day of Gratitude 11/17/2025 and 11/19/2025

The ASSG Day of Gratitude aimed to support and celebrate students ahead of the holiday break! We hosted a Thanksgiving-style meal on November 17, giving students a space to connect and enjoy food together. On November 19, we followed with a gratitude-basket handout to provide students with essentials to help ease food insecurity during the break. The event also centered our ongoing commitment to building relationships with CU’s Indigenous communities and uplifting their presence on campus!Ìý

This amazing new event could not have taken place without Abby Vsetecka and her Events Committee (Derek Boyd, Namitha Katsury, and Ryan Sadler)!
