CU Cycling History & Bike to Work Day
CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß has a rich cycling legacy, whether for daily commuting or the more than 120 national collegiate race titles. A few other highlights:
1956: First National Bike to Work Day
1970: First official ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß bike path opens, led by CU Professor Al Bartlett (Roger Craraft and Al Bartlett in photo)
2003-present: Buff Bicycle Classic each September has raised over $4.3M for scholarships
2025: CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß named a Platinum Bicycle Friendly University
