I have been an educator for over thirty years in settings ranging from preK through graduate level courses. As part of the SASC community, I teach leadership and humanities courses and I am on the Instructional Assistant Coordinator team representing Humanities & Social Sciences. As a committed social justice educator, what I love most about our work here in SASC is opening spaces for difference, thoughtfully challenging our worldviews, and supporting one another in generative ways towards our academic, civic, and personal growth.

My academic background is in Sociology, Anthropology, Women & Gender Studies, and Education, and my pathway continues to be deeply shaped by my experience as a 'non-tradional' student and my Choctaw roots. As importantly, I am a very proud Mom and Grama.
