Program Council Production Director
Position Type: Student Assistant II
Compensation: $17.85/hour for approximately 15 Hours/week
Undergraduates only. Work Study preferred but not required.
The Program Council Production Director is responsible for general oversight and management of all Program Council production services and serves as the head of the production department/team. The Production Director manages a team of 2 managers, directly manages production needs for all large-scale Program Council events, and oversees all contracted production services for events. The Production Director is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service with student groups, campus departments, vendors, and professional performers and their teams to supply high quality production to meet the needs of events. The Production Director can expect to support events from start to finish including consulting and planning for production needs, constructing production equipment including stages and AV rigs, programming lights, mixing/mastering audio, managing Crew, and directing all load in and load out of events.
Prior experience in Program Council is preferred, though not required for all Director level positions. This position will work irregular hours at times, including evenings, late nights, and weekends. 
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise the Program Council Production Team
- With the Program Council Executive Director, oversee hiring and training of the Program Council Production Team, including planning and executing onboarding, retreats, goal setting, and evaluations
- With the Program Council Operations Director and Crew Manager, oversee hiring and training of the Program Council Crew team, including planning and executing onboarding, retreats, goal setting, and evaluations
- Ensure all production staff are meeting positional responsibilities and hold staff accountable when needed
- Oversee the development and implementation of a repair and replacement cycle for all Program Council equipment
- Serve as the Production Lead on all large-scale Program Council shows (ex. WelcomeFest, Homecoming, Battle of the Bands), special events (ex. Just Roll With It, Jump & Jam), and Recognized Student Organization events
- Partner with the Operations Director to assign appropriate staffing for all events
- Partner with the Live Entertainment Director, Late Night Events Director, and Traditions & Community Events Director to determine appropriate production and staffing for all events
- Partner with the Marketing Director to develop appropriate marketing for all events
- Maintain positive working relationships with campus venue schedulers, including meeting regularly with campus venue schedulers such as the UMC/EP&C to ensure PC utilized venues are appropriately maintained

Program Council Marketing Director
Position Type: Student Assistant II

The Program Council Marketing Director is responsible for general oversight and management of the Program Council marketing and communications and serves as the head of the marketing department/team. The Marketing Director manages a team of 2 managers and 3 designers, oversees the creation and implementation of Program Council brand standards and communication plans, and oversees graphic and multimedia designs, Program Council’s social media and website, experiential marketing events, and PC merchandise.Ìý
Prior experience in Program Council is preferred, though not required for all Director level positions. This position will work irregular hours at times, including evenings, late nights, and weekends. 
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise the Program Council Marketing Department
- With the Program Council Operations Director, oversee hiring and training of the Program Council Marketing Team, including planning and executing onboarding, retreats, goal setting, and evaluations
- Ensure all staff are meeting positional responsibilities and hold staff accountable when needed
- Develop a comprehensive Program Council branding and communications plan
- Serve as marketing lead on all large-scale Program Council shows (ex. Welcome Fest, Homecoming, Spring Show), including develop communication plans, press releases, and managing the media/press list
- Promote and recruit interest in Program Council events, services, and jobs through outreach initiatives with RSOs/RSGOs, campus departments, academic classes, etc.
- Provide guided support for promotional events and brand activations management to the Experiential Marketing Manager.
- Coordinate the booking of event sponsors and other external vendors for the annual Welcome Fest concert with day-of-event management support from the Program Council Operations Director.
- Maintain positive working relationships with Student Affairs Communications, including meeting regularly with Student Affairs Communications to ensure campus channels are amplifying Program Council events and services

Program Council Operations Director
Position Type: Student Assistant II
Compensation: $17.85/hour for approximately 15 Hours/week
Undergraduates only. Work Study preferred but not required.
The Program Council Operations Director is responsible for general oversight and management of the Program Council office space, business operations, and serves as the head of the office & operations department/team. The Operations Director directly supervises the Training and Development Manager and Crew Manager, which also includes general oversight of Crew Members, Front Desk Assistants, and Street Team. This position also directly oversees the staffing and daily operation of the Program Council office, oversees all Program Council hiring, onboarding, staff development, retreats, and transition processes. The Operations Director is responsible for maintaining a high-level guest experience for all visitors to the Program Council office, whether students, press, or talent.Ìý
Prior experience in Program Council is preferred, though not required for all Director level positions. This position will work irregular hours at times, including evenings, late nights, and weekends. 
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise the Program Council Operations Department
- Oversee and support hiring and training of the Program Council Operations Department including planning and executing onboarding, retreats, goal setting, and evaluations
- Ensure all direct reports are meeting positional responsibilities and hold staff accountable when needed
- Maintain regular Program Council office operations and records, including but not limited to ensuring appropriate desk staffing, taking meeting minutes, maintaining staff rosters, and tracking inventory
- Organize and facilitate all Program Council hiring processes including maintaining position descriptions, posting positions, receiving applications, scheduling interviews, creating onboarding and transition plans, and planning annual retreats, with support from PC Executive Director, Advisors, and other Directors
- Prioritize accurate record keeping and information storage within the organization including but not limited to departmental document organization, alumni records and history, meeting minutes, transition and training materials, staff rosters, etc.
- Coordinate day-of-event management for sponsors and other external vendor brand activation assignments for the annual Welcome Fest Concert in support of the Program Council Marketing Director.
- Serve as lead for creating and administering Assessment priorities across all of Program Council

The Program Council Live Entertainment Director is responsible for general oversight and management of Program Council’s comedy shows, concerts, and other live entertainment-focused events and serves as the head of the Live Entertainment department/team. The Live Entertainment Director manages a team of 2 events managers, directly manages large scale events (ex. Homecoming Comedy Show, Battle of the Bands, etc.), and indirectly oversees events including small concerts, comedy shows, and special/traditional events.Ìý
Prior experience in Program Council is preferred, though not required for all Director level positions. This position will work irregular hours at times, including evenings, late nights, and weekends. 
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise the Program Council Live Entertainment Team
- With the Program Council Executive Director, oversee hiring and training of the Program Council Live Entertainment team, including planning and executing onboarding, retreats, goal setting, and evaluations

The Program Council Traditions & Community Events Director is responsible for general oversight and management of all Program Council community events and serves as the head of the Traditions & Community Event department/team. The Traditions & Community Events Director manages a team of 2 managers, directly manages large scale events, and indirectly oversees events including small scale community-oriented events (ex. DIY Nights) and special/traditional events (ex. Student Gameday Huddles).Ìý
Prior experience in Program Council is preferred, though not required for all Director level positions. This position will work irregular hours at times, including evenings, late nights, and weekends. 
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise the Program Council Traditions & Community Events Team
- Ensure all staff are meeting positional responsibilities and hold staff accountable when needed
- Oversee large scale Program Council Traditions/Community events (ex. Student Gameday Huddles, Rave to the Grave, Black History Month Festival)

The Program Council Late Night Events Director is responsible for general oversight and management of all Program Council late night events and serves as the head of the Late Night Event department/team. The Late Night Events Director manages a team of 2 events managers, directly manages large scale events, and indirectly oversees events including films and special events as part of the Buffs After Dark event series.Ìý
Prior experience in Program Council is preferred, though not required for all Director level positions. This position will work irregular hours at times, including evenings, late nights, and weekends. 
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise the Program Council Late Night Events Team
- Ensure all staff are meeting positional responsibilities and hold staff accountable when needed
- Oversee large scale Program Council Late Night events (ex. Boogie & Bowling Bash, Jump & Jam, etc)
- Support all Program Council events including but not limited to staffing events, ensuring events meet revenue expectations, serving as an organization administrator for Program Council’s BuffConnect page, and assisting the Program Council Late Night Events Team in planning all event logistics
