Indemnification
The State of Colorado authorized specific entities within the state to accept indemnification. The Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) at the ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß is not authorized to provide indemnity on awards that are accepted under OCG’s authority.
CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß is a nonprofit, public, and governmental institution of higher education with a primary focus on academics and research. CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß cannot cover a sponsor’s loss. CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß shall be responsible for its ownnegligent acts or omissions as covered under CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s self-insurance policy.
