- This fall, 15 members of the Cleveland Orchestra will be in residence at the College of Music. It's the second time the players have come to 抖阴传媒在线 in three years.
- Michele 鈥淢ikhy鈥 and Mike Ritter were college sweethearts at CU-抖阴传媒在线. When they left their adopted hometown a few years after graduation to pursue career goals, Mikhy made Mike sign a contract that they鈥檇 return in five years.
鈥淚t took us six years to get back but we held up the bargain,鈥 she says, laughing. - Jeannie and Jack Thompson have made an unprecedented commitment to the Jazz Studies program at the 抖阴传媒在线 鈥 building $1.6 million in combined gifts to trigger a new $2 million program endowment.
To honor and recognize this transformational gift, the program will be renamed the Thompson Jazz Studies Program, as announced at yesterday鈥檚 annual Spring Swing big band concert. It is CU-抖阴传媒在线鈥檚 first named program.
