The College of Music at the ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß is thrilled to host the 2026 Guitar Summer Academy!
The CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Guitar Summer Academy offers a five-day immersion into the world of the classical guitar led by world-class faculty and guests artists at the newly renovated Imig Music Building on the beautiful ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß campus.
Designed for high school students, participants will experience:
- Five individual lessons—including one lesson on early music repertoire with Nigel North;
- daily performance classes;
- two Dalcroze workshops;
- one Alexander Technique workshop;
- entry to all Summey Academy concerts; and
- a final performance featuring all Summer Academy participants!
The CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Guitar Summer Academy is a tuition-free program open to all high school students (limit 12 participants).
To apply, interested students must download, complete and submit a registration form (link below), and submit a short video of their playing. All registration materials must be received by Sunday, March 15, 2026.
