Don’t lose campus Wi-Fi
Get ready for a new Wi-Fi experience! CU Secure and CU Guest are now live inÌýÌý²¹²Ô»å will fully replace UCB Wireless and UCB Guest over winter break.
To avoid Wi-Fi disruptions, we strongly encourage everyone who works or studies on campus to install the CU Secure certificate on their personal devices by Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025.
Prepare Your Devices
If you haven’t registered your devices on the new campus Wi-Fi yet, your next steps differ by device.
- If you have a laptop purchased through the university,. If it is, then it already has the CU Secure certificate installed and no action is required. If it isn’t, see the next step.
- If you typically connect a personal or non-Secure Computing laptop, smartphone or tabletÌýto campus Wi-Fi,Ìýnow. It only takes a few minutes and can be done over any internet connection, on campus or off.
- If your department has a business-critical consumer Wi-Fi deviceÌý(e.g., Wi-Fi scanner, temperature sensor) that was using UCB Wireless, its record has been migrated to CU Secure—no action is required. After the cutover, the device doesn’t connect to CU Secure automatically, try rebooting or resetting it.
- If you have a personal gaming system or smart device, register it on the new CU Guest network using the. For security purposes, the portal can only be accessed from a non-guest campus network (UCB Wireless, CU Secure, eduroam or the wired internet) or the.
