Supporting local businesses is about to get easier

CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß has launched CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Buy Local, a program to connect local-, women- and minority-owned businesses with campus staff, faculty and student groups who purchase goods and services on behalf of the university. Ìý

Why it mattersÌý

By including and supporting local and diverse businesses in CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s supply chain, the campus hopes to create opportunity, promote innovation and stimulate the economic vitality of the surrounding community. Ìý

Already the largest economic contributor in ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß County, CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß departments and organizations have an opportunity to increase their positive impact by supporting local and diverse vendors in sectors like food services, marketing, printing, lodging and more. Ìý

How it worksÌý

Interested business owners complete a short, online Vendor Application Form. Vendors are then added to a list of local businesses available on CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s Office of Government and Community Engagement website.  Ìý
