Sara serves as an Academic Coach for the College of Communication, Media, Design and Information, serving students in the Environmental Design Department. In her role, she works with students to expand their self-awareness, develop academic skills, and on co-creating action plans to meet their goals. She is dedicated to supporting students in their academic, personal, and career success. Sara has experience in multiple areas across CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s campus. Prior to CMDI, she served as a graduate program advisor, academic mentor, and assistant learning specialist.

Sara is pursuing her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado Denver. She holds an M.A.Ed. in Educational Psychology and a B.S. in Biological Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. While at Virginia Tech, she competed for the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. While she still enjoys running, she has gotten more into all that Colorado has to offer, hiking, rock climbing, and more!
