Kelly Dern is a Senior Staff Product Designer at, where she shapes the future of personal finance. She is responsible for the design vision, strategy, and execution of innovative, user-centric fintech solutions that impact millions of users.
Prior to joining SoFi, Kelly worked on Gemini for Meet at Google, Google Nest, start-ups, and Adidas on various product and UX projects, ranging from hardware-software integration to health tech solutions. She received a Google Product Excellence Award for her design work on , a game that simulates different impairments. Kelly enjoys learning new skills and sharing her knowledge as a speaker, mentor, and advisor in the design community.
She holds a MSc in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Art History, French and Studio Art from Scripps College.
