Samper听is Associate Professor at the Program in Environmental Design.听His work at听听concentrates on sustainable urban growth and dwells at the intersection between urban informality ("slums") and urban violent conflict. He obtained his BA in architecture in UNal in Medellin, a Master in City Planning from MIT and a Ph.D. on Urban and Regional Planning, also from听, where he was a Lecturer for the past two听years. In 2010, his听听with estudio teddy cruz, exhibited at the MoMA.
He is a fellow of the 鈥溾, and advisor for the 鈥溙齠or the听. He is a co-founder of听听a nonprofit dedicated to choreograph meaningful conversations,听听and听听with marginalized communities.
