Join us July 15-16 for our educator conference

A conference for educators co-hosted by the BUENO Center and A Queer Endeavor at the CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß School of Education.

Join CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s BUENO Center and A Queer Endeavor for a collective learning two-day conference experiencia that will bring forth new ³¾±ð±ô´Ç»åí²¹²õ and ²¹°ù³¾´Ç²Ôí²¹²õ in chorus for intersectional justice. We envision this gathering as both refuge and rally: an opportunity to amplify voices and histories too often silenced, to dance to the music of our ancestors, and to weave new possibilities in education. Together, we will listen, learn, and move in concert while composing the soundscape of educational futures rooted in justicia.

A Queer Endeavor is a bold program for educators wanting to do more than learn vocabulary. It is a program for educators who truly wish to do both the inner and outer work necessary to shift what counts as normal in our schools. They ask the difficult questions, provide the right scaffolding, and support adult learners to create inclusive and welcoming schools for LGBTQ+ students."

—Levi Arithson (he/him), Program Manager of LGBTQ+ Equity, Denver Public Schools
