- Growing Up ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Director, Mara Mintzer's, TEDx talk will be featured on TED's main platform launching Nov. 7. Growing Up ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß is a CEDaR program.
- "Placemaking with Children and Youth: Participatory Practices for Planning Sustainable Communities," which was released Sept. 17 by New Village Press, was written by three women with strong ties to CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß's Community, Engagement Design and Research Center (CEDaR).
- Sidewalk Labs looks at how North American cities are turning to a suite of planning and design innovations to keep families. This includes ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß, Colorado, where Growing Up ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß asks kids themselves what they want, and the city incorporates its tiniest residents' ideas into transportation and other municipal plans.
- Colorado MetroLab, a partnership between CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and Colorado city governments, organized a design workshop where CU ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß environmental design (ENVD) students, neighborhood residents and elementary school students gave their ideas for revitalizing ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß's University Hill area.
- Growing Up ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and the city of ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß, Colorado, are actively involving all stakeholders to make it a child- and youth-friendly city.
- BikeLife ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß looks at a partnership between Growing Up ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and GO ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß that gives teens a voice in shaping transportation improvements in the East Arapahoe corridor.
- Second-grade English language learners from Whittier Elementary saw their suggestions for upgrading the HOP bus implemented, their input made possible through the CEDaR program Growing Up ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß (GUB), a youth-friendly initiative.
