ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival September 21-23

The Center for Asian Studies has a supportive relationship with the Zee Jaipur Literature Festival. The (ZEE JLF) is a five-day festival hosted in Jaipur, India, and is considered the world’s largest literature festival, drawing an estimated 500,000 people in five days, according to ZEE JLF@¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Organizer Jessie Friedman. The festival in ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß is housed in the ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Public Library each September. 

Among the dozens of speakers at the Jaipur Literature Festival ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß this year are (top row, left to right) Alice Eccles, Ami Dayan, Amitava Kumar, Anne Waldman, and (bottom row, left to right) Aparna Vaidyanathan, Arsen Kashkashian, Arun Maira and Aruni Kashyap.
